MaliseetTrail.com felt this map was too significant to remain cloistered on the shelves of achieves and museums.

W.F. Ganong’s famed Map #12, showing Aboriginal routes of travel in NB, was reworked for clarity, and then went a highly recommended local printer. Not only did they do great work but they also keep fresh Twizzlers on the receptionist’s desk. The red ones!!

A little midnight oil was burned in order to bring this map to the paddling public in time for Canadian Rivers Day, June 8, 2008.  Now it is time to celebrate. Hope you enjoy our offering.

Even if this map is not for you… how could that be? … you can celebrate June 08, 2008 by ordering a free poster from the Canadian Heritage Rivers System website. Check it out…

P.S. Hope to see every one at Fredericton River Fest’s many events including the Saturday Jubilee at Officer’s Square on Saturday where copies of “Aboriginal Canoe and Portage Routes” will be sold from 10a.m. to 3p.m.
